KICA is excited to formally announce our new partnership with the Valor Partners Foundation! Through this new arrangement, KICA and our members will be able to expand the student aid we can offer to well-deserving students attending our 21 institutions!
The Valor Partners Foundation (www.valorpartners.org) provides support for students who are Section 35 eligible individuals – the survivors and dependents of individuals killed or 100% disabled while serving in the U.S. armed forces. The funds they provide are for the entire cost of a college education – tuition, fees, books, room and board, and other living expenses required to earn a college degree
Starting in Award Year 2025-2026, the Valor Partners Foundation will provide a total of $25,000 a year to KICA to distribute to eligible students across our membership. Institutions will have to match the portion they receive from these funds in making awards to eligible students.
Please follow KICA as our first cohort of awards will go out in late May 2024.
