In the midst of generational transition, Student Success Services professionals must be adaptive and collaborative. The 2025 agenda was built with that in mind.

Workshops will include:

Free Speech Issues on Private Campuses, including (i) handbooks, policies, and other sources of free speech rights; (ii) differences between students and employees; (iii) outside speakers and invited organizations; and (iv) speech on political matters.

Supporting Transfer Student Success: The process involved collaboration between academic advising, student affairs, and campus services to design a comprehensive onboarding program tailored to the unique needs of transfer students. This presentation will detail the development and assessment of these strategies, highlight best practices, and provide actionable insights for institutions looking to enhance their transfer student onboarding processes.

Predictive Interventions to Foster Thriving Student Cohorts: By focusing on cohort identification and understanding both individual and behavioral characteristics, attendees will explore how to effectively utilize existing resources to create targeted interventions.

Play and Brain Breaks: Research indicates that these breaks can significantly enhance cognitive function, improve classroom behavior, and foster a positive attitude towards learning. Participants will examine various types of brain breaks, including physical activities, mindfulness exercises, and interactive games that not only stimulate movement but also promote social-emotional learning.

And More To Be Announced Soon.
